    We want to make sure our Community is safe when meeting new people and new pets! Meeting new pet parents is super fun and exciting but you should always be cautious of meeting people with new people.

Safety Tips

Protect your personal information
  • Do not share any personal information like your home address, your social security number, bank account information, work address or tell someone your daily routine. If you have children, limit the amount of information on your profile about them and what you tell others about them.
Report Suspicious Behavior
  • Report users that seem suspicious, or that are inappropriate on their profile or in messages to you. This will be done anonymously, even after you match.

  • Asking for money over messages.
  • Gives vague answers to specific questions.
  • Pressures you into connecting outside of the app.

Video chat before you meet in person.
  • This is one of the best ways to make sure that the person you are talking to. We have this feature on our app, so you are welcomed to do it on here.
Meet in a public space.
  • Report users that seem suspicious, or that are inappropriate on their profile or in messages to you. This will be done anonymously, even after you match.
Tell a friend or family member.
  • Send your friend or family member their profile pictures and their name.
  • Tell them where you are going and what time.
  • Text them when you get there and leave so they know you are safe.
Do not rely on your match for transportation.
  • You want to have control on how you get there and get home.
  • You can leave if you feel uncomfortable.
  • Avoid getting in their car during meeting.
Trust your instincts.
  • If you feel uncomfortable before meeting, do not meet up.
  • If you feel uncomfortable while being with whom you meet, leave.
  • Do not worry about being rude, safety is the most important piority for both you and your pet.
